Clomid (Generic)

Generic Clomid medication is used to treat infertility in women. By stimulating the production of hormones, it stimulates ovulation (egg release) in cases when ovaries are able to produce a follicle, but the production of hormones is insufficient.

Generic Clomid should be taken in strict compliance with your prescription. Use medical consult if the directions of use are not clear to you.

The medication is taken with a full glass of water, usually in 50-day cycles. However, individual prescriptions will depend on your condition.

If you experience any symptoms associated with allergies such as difficulty breathing, hives, swollen tongue etc., stop using the medication and seek urgent medical help.

As Generic Clomid has been reported to cause ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome in certain patients, seek urgent medical help if you develop any of its symptoms, such as: swollen hands or legs; stomach pain; shortness of breath; nausea and vomiting; gaining weight.

Notify your doctor immediately if you develop any of the following side effects: pelvic or abdominal pain or swelling (indicates enlargement of ovaries); nausea, vomiting or digestion problems; tenderness of breasts; sight problems; headache; uterine bleeding.

Taking Generic Clomid may increase the probability of multiple births, which increases risks for the mother and the fetuses.

Note that this list does not include all possible side effects. Other side effects might occur depending on individual health conditions.

As Generic Clomid may lead to blurred or otherwise impeded vision, avoid performing hazardous activities during or after taking the medication. Notify your medical provider immediately if you develop any sight problems.

There have been no reported instances of interaction between Generic Clomid and other medications. However, seek medical consult before combining it with other medicines.

Do not take a double dose of Generic Clomid. If you have missed a dose, consult your doctor to define further schedule.

Generic Clomid should be stored at room temperature in a tightly closed container away from light, heat and moisture. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
